Anchored North has published another video testimony (among their others) in which these videos help summarize and explain what truth and love does to humanity through and by God, his design, and purposes -- especially by the gospel and his word, the Bible. Here are a few lines from the video testimony as Emily shares about her life as a 'teenager' (15) as well as homosexual, lesbian lifestyle for 7 years including engagement to another gal with 2 kids:
- "Dating a girl down the street from me ... I was pretty pumped ... I got a hickey ... my dad was livid."
- "I love her. It was a girl. I'm going to be with her. It went terribly."
- "Are you and her gay together? ... I'm going own it ... Yeah, what about it? ... Judge not!"
- "God being love meant that God was nice and God was chill with what you were cool with."
- "I was super wild ... I was in serial relationships with women."
- "When I got to nursing school, I met the girl that I ended up being engaged to."
- "Got invited to a Bible study."
- "I could not stop thinking, what's if it's all true?"
- "Are you sure this is who you are?"
- "I couldn't stop questioning. I have to feel okay because I don't feel okay anymore."
- "I googled homosexuality."
- "It scared me, really really bad."
- "Read verse 11 (1 Corinthians 6), and as such were some of you but you are washed ... "
- "There are people in the same place that have been changed ... and I needed that."
- "I could hold onto my sin and reject God or I could turn to him."
- "I twisted those scriptures before. I'd argued them down."
